viewfinder
The viewfinder is the part of your camera that you look through to frame your picture. Many cameras display useful information in your viewfinder such as a flash indicator or exposure warning light. Cameras with larger viewfinders are useful if you find yourself squinting to take pictures.
viewpoint
The position you take in relation to the subject of your picture is called the viewpoint. Most photographs are taken by people standing upright but you can often take more creative pictures from a higher vantage point known as a bird's eye view or from a very low vantage point known as a worm's eye view.
vignetting
Sometimes the corners of your photo prints or slides are darkened due to vignetting. This can happen if you attach the wrong lens hood or too many filters to your lens. Take care when using wide angle lenses and wide angle zooms because these lenses are the most prone to vignetting.
