Ordering from Fotopic


Payment

The total cost of the order will be charged to your credit/debit card at the time the order is made. We accept Switch, Mastercard, Visa, Delta and Solo. All card transactions are encrypted over a secure connection. You should note that we are under no obligation to accept any order placed and we will not be treated as having accepted any such order until you have received confirmation of despatch via email. Your card will be processed in Pounds Sterling.

Card payment is processed and verified immediately, and you will be informed whether your payment has been successful. In order to prevent fraud we ship only to the credit/debit card-holder's address. None of our customers has reported fraudulent use of a credit or debit card as a result of purchases made with us, and card details are not held in clear text on any web site or database.

We also accept cheques and postal orders denominated in Pounds Sterling (£) as advance payment, payable to Fotopic Ltd. and sent to our address at:

Lead Times

Standard print orders are despatched within 2 working days. Non-standard orders (t-shirts, mugs, phone covers, speciality artwork items) may take longer to despatch.

Note that in cases where we request verification of credit/debit card details your order may be delayed, but we will always attempt to verify your details quickly.

Despite our efforts, there can sometimes be unforeseen delays in delivery. It may be worthwhile contacting your local postal sorting office as it's possible they have already tried to deliver your package, but were unable to.

If you believe the delivery is severely overdue, please send orders@fotopic.net an email and we'll take appropriate action. Please ensure you include the order number which was sent in your order acknowledgement email.

Postage & Packing

We calculate postage and packing based on weight of your order, with a minimum charge of £1.50 for first-class Royal Mail postage within the UK.

Order Status

We will email you to confirm the placement of your order, and again when your order is despatched. You can check the status of your order by logging into My.Fotopic with your email address and password.

Payment

In the extremely rare case that we are unable to fulfil your order then you will receive a full refund to your credit/debit card. If there is an error in the fulfilment of your order then you should contact us immediately at orders@fotopic.net and we will correct the error or refund as necessary. We reserve the right to request return of print items before a refund is issued.

Please note that returns are not processed at the main Fotopic office - if you send returns directly to us without a returns number there will be a delay in re-processing your order!

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel an order providing it has not commenced processing via the printing system. We may charge a £2.50 administration fee to cancel an order. If the order has commenced processing it may not be cancelled.

Customs

When ordering goods from Fotopic for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Fotopic, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of the contents of your order as "Gift Items".

Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers dispatching products internationally to be aware that cross-border deliveries are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Also, we may provide certain order, delivery and product information, such as photo IDs, to our international carriers and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

BFPO Addresses

BFPO addresses: These must be entered into the fields in our online order form in a specific format ensuring that the BFPO number (BFPO###) is entered into the postcode field. Please make sure that the name includes the service number, rank and name, and the address includes the company and regiment.

AFPO Addresses: At present we have no way of dispatching items to US military personnel and their families (stationed beyond US shores) using the APO/FPO mail system.

Limitation of Liability

Whilst we take every possible care in handling clients materials, originals, samples etc. we cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage howsoever caused. Your film, negatives, discs and originals are accepted on the understanding that the replacement value does not exceed the price of material.

Copyright Information

It is a criminal offence under the Copyright Design and Patents Act 1988 to submit for copying, photographs or artwork, unless you are the holder of the copyright or have written permission from the copyright owner. Therefore, in keeping with the code of practice of our Trade Association, copies are only accepted on the understanding that the customer has the legal rights for the reproduction and will be held entirely responsible for any dispute arising there from. Where copying is requested you will be asked to sign a form to this effect.

Other Information

Should you require a duplicate printed invoice, there is an additional administration fee of £5.00. Duplicate invoices will only be despatched after payment has been received. We can also provide printed order histories at £2.00 per A4 sheet.
